Jon - Hot here in Kansas lately. Last nite on my late nite ride the bank sign was still reading 98 degrees at 10:30pm and the bugs were out in force. In an attempt to keep them from going up my pantleg I rode with my feet on the rear pegs. It wasn't all that bad considering i've got the regular pullback bars. Got to thinking about your problem and remembered I rode this way a lot on previous bikes with bars such as yours to relieve butt pressure on extended trips. Give it a try with your bars, you should have no problem, and you may just enjoy it. Just be sure to wear shoes with heels.
